Klára Gibišová | Pianist
Who is She?
Klára might not have played the piano at all if it weren’t for her two older sisters. She discovered the piano at the age of three and was able to play entirely from memory even before learnt to read music. Her talent has been nurtured by Professor Taťána Vejvodová and recently by renowned Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek. Klára is often described as a child prodigy but the true wonder lies in her genuine love for the piano which keeps her focused through long hours of practice. When not practicing or performing, she enjoys reading and dubbing — though her music needs no translation.
“Czech music is a heritage we should cherish.”
Klára Gibišová
